She’s using her platform as a filmmaker to lift up underrepresented voices, and her stories will soon reach the masses when her new show, directed by Spike Lee, premieres on Amazon Prime.

For Yurie Blons, J.D. ’23, the life-changing work of immigrant justice is personal. Formerly undocumented herself, she takes a compassionate, people-centric approach as a lawyer, fighting for the safety and security of refugees, asylum seekers and DACA recipients.
